Your impact
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager. This role is housed in our Data & Digital business unit and will support Jacobs-developed solutions as a product manager, owning the end-to-end lifecycle for assigned solutions. The role is expected to work hand-in-hand with our consulting delivery teams to support client engagements from initial advisory services through support of deployed solutions. Areas of Responsibility: • “Outbound” oriented product management – leading voice-of-customer and voice-of-prospect interviews and consolidating results. Defining key user stories, writing specifications, and prioritizing the roadmap. Defining success metrics and frameworks for measuring product performance. • Collaborating with the engineering, user interface, and client delivery teams to deliver on the roadmap. • Prioritizing incorporation of AI within the product and solution roadmap, in coordination with the Jacobs AI teams within Digital & Data. • Collaborating with sales and senior consultants to forecast product financial outlook by defining total potential market, pricing, and long-term costs to ensure the right product investments are made. • Supporting go-to-market planning and product launches, including defining and drafting how the product should be pitched (value proposition statements, etc.). • Collaborating with teams across the Jacobs’ global business and maintaining clear, organized conversation and documentation.
Here's what you'll need
• 5-10 years total experience split in any ratio across the following: • Product management experience in enterprise/commercial software and digital tools (managing roadmaps, organizing backlogs, summarizing customer/prospect/market feedback and turning it into excellent product specifications documents, etc.). • Experience in consulting organization that involved direct engagement with clients to lead the planning, design, and delivery of software solutions. • Demonstrated experience managing internal costs and an understanding of the financial/commercial aspects of pricing and selling software.
